Es fragt sich hier, welches ist jener normale Casus, dem man den wichtigen Vorzug einräumte, alle übrigen zu vertreten? Ist es in allen Sprachen derselbe? Die Vermuthung wird für den Nom. Ausfallen, den casus rectus, der, wie sein Name sagt, den Begriff nur nennt. Allein die Erfahrung widerspricht, denn bei weitem die meisten Wörter weisen in ihrer Bildung auf einen der casus obliqm' wie liesse sich it. Nicve auf nix, sp. Amigos auf amici, fr. Comte auf comes zurückleiten? Die normale Form ist auch nicht in allen Sprachen dieselbe: neben das sp. Amigos stellt sich das it. Amici, ein Nom. Neben einen Acc.
