Somit tritt in dieser erzählung das haus, dessen stammvater Eurys theus-eurysthenes ist, als herschendes geschlecht' in Sparta zu der zeit auf wo die Dorer erst in den Peloponnes und speciell in Lakonien ein wandern; sie und die ihrigen sind die damals bereits in Sparta ange sessenen, welche die dorischen eindringlinge abzuwehren suchen.
