Byram Karasu M.D. is a Distinguished Professor Emeritus at Albert Einstein College of Medicine and Silverman Professor and University Chairman Emeritus Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Albert Einstein/Montefiore Medical Center. Dr. Karasu is a widely renowned psychiatrist, educator, master psychotherapist and best-selling author whose work has been translated into many languages. Dr. Karasu has published twenty three books including two novels, a book of poetry, three philosophical/psychological books, and a number of psychotherapy related books.

Dr. Karasu lives and practices in Manhattan.
