In the Chronological Illustration of the Christian Architecture of England, I have given nearly the whole of the eighty prints, belonging to the volume, in a light and rather slight style of execution, and mostly in elevation and section, for the purpose of showing the forms and proportions of the various architectural members with precision and accuracy. This volume is intended to embrace a comprehensive review and illustration of the Christian Archi tecture of England.
