Téngase por un hecho ó por mera tradición, y sin aqui latar el relato a la luz de la crítica en si mismo revela que ya antes se ha procurado demostrar la antigua de voción á María Santísima en Cantabria, Montañas de Burgos ó provincia de Santander.
