BYOD instruction not only reduces the costs of integrating technology in the teaching learning process but also engages students in meaningful classroom activities. This new notion of technology usage in education has changed the view of educators from teachers-oriented usage of technological devices in classrooms to more students-oriented one. It gives more freedom to students in taking responsibility of their own learning. In other words, it fosters student-centeredness teaching-learning process. In the Moroccan context, teachers' and students' attitudes towards the usage of technology in classroom activities encourage the idea of promoting programs like BYOD instruction. Yet, there are some challenges which make decision makers a bit skeptical such as security matters, equity, and internet access. But it is worth giving a try to such promising programs, especially in higher education levels.
