On distingue dans toute mélodie ou composition musical le grave et l'aigu une note est au grave quand le ton est plus bas ou inférieur, elle est a l'aigu si elle a un plus élevé ou supérieur.
Pour monter du grave a l'aigu, les notes se placen insi: ut, ré, mi, fa, sol, la, si, et naturelleme'nt l'ordre in erse ramène dé l'aigu au grave.
