En asuntos de material interés, que tengan coneccion con el pais en que ha vivido, estado en relacion, por veinte y cuatro años, poco mas 6 menos, y en el que están establecidos un muy gran número de subditos británicos con sus familias, por medio de los cuales hay una contínua corriente de inmi grantes de Europa, muchos de los que, (especial mente aquellos que poseen un capital pequeño) alimentan las mas equivocadas ideas respecto a este pais, sus industrias y la esplotacion a que se presta; entre el cual y la Gran Bretaña existen relaciones comerciales muy importantes, y en las que hay un gran capital británico invertido.
