Brunet, probablemente guiado por Barbosa denunció una impre sión hipotética en Lisboa el año 1554. Las traducciones de la composición del verdadero ó supuesto Gómez de San Este ban, Sant Estevan, Santisteban, Santo Estevao empezaron en Portugal hacia 1644, un siglo después de correr por esta parte.
