About the author

Richard T. Ashcroft is a PhD Candidate in the Department of Political Science at the University of California, Berkeley, USA. Before coming to Berkeley, he practised as a solicitor of the Senior Courts of England and Wales.

Mark Bevir is a Professor of Political Science and the Director of the Center for British Studies at the University of California, Berkeley, USA. He is also a Professor in the Graduate School of Governance at the United Nations University, Tokyo, Japan (MERIT) and a Distinguished Research Professor in the College of Arts and Humanities at Swansea University, UK.

Summary

This book examines the issues of law and policy that fall under the umbrella of multiculturalism in contemporary Britain, focusing on the connections between policy, law, and political theory.
