Li Tianyu, titulaire d'un doctorat de l'école de journalisme et de communication de l'université Tsinghua, a publié plusieurs articles dans des revues universitaires telles que Jiangsu Social Sciences et Hundred Schools in Arts, ainsi que quelques critiques littéraires dans GUANGMING RIBAO. Le documentaire "Racing Years" a été sélectionné pour le 70e Festival international du court métrage de Cannes.
