Rasch approach is characteristically unique among traditional and advanced methods of test standardization. This book reveals a convenient way to calibrate and standardize achievement tests through the lens of same approach and is based on author's Ph.D. research work. Standardized tests are beneficial to compare students' performance state-wide, diagnose their weaknesses, complement classroom instruction, ascertain general academic outcomes, equate tests fairly, scrutinize students for special purposes and make recruitment. Wide acceptability and promising future of these tests is evident from their use on millions of students around the world every year. Therefore, these tests are worthy of consideration for classroom teachers of all subjects and grades, experts of examining bodies, personnel of recruitment agencies, researchers and interested readers from public.
