About the author

Robert O'Brien is Professor of Political Science at McMaster University, Ontario. He is a founding and consulting editor of the online open access Global Labour Journal, and author of several books, including Contesting Global Governance (with Anne Marie Goetz, Jan Aart Scholte, and Marc Williams, Cambridge, 2000).
