She trained at East 15 Acting School, London before moving back north to her roots. Both plays Gutted and SWIM became sell-out regional tours after opening at HOME Manchester and Theatre by the Lake. Liz has collaborated with the National Trust; Outdoor Swimming Society and Wellcome Collection. Liz dabbled with stand up comedy which saw her through to finals with Amused Moose and Funny Women at Edinburgh Festival. Liz's new show Local takes her back to her very beginnings in Cumbria to unearth stories which are all things belonging to people and place. Tara Robinson is the artistic lead and founder of The Conker Group. She divides her time between creating new work with them and other freelance roles including her current position as Resident Associate Artist with Boundless Theatre.
