Summary

This book analyses how the global financial-economic crisis that began in 2007 has transformed the varied geographies of urban capitalism, with particular emphasis on patterns of neoliberalism in Europe.
It does so by focusing on how the global crisis has unfolded in Barcelona, Brussels, Cagliari and Leeds, four cities that have experienced the global financial crisis in very different ways due to their economic structure, governance models and position in relation to wider national, European and global urban networks.
