About the author

A.S. Laksana was born in Semarang and completed a degree in Communication Studies at Gadjah Mada University in Yogyakarta. He currently teaches creative writing and writes a weekly column titled "Ruang Putih" (White Space) which is published every Sunday in Jawa Pos.
