In Nigeria, development continues to remain stalled even amidst vast abundance of natural and human resources, foreign aids, and technological advancement. Stalled development is often due to unfavourable government policies, corruption, improper utilisation of natural resources, vast amount of inequality, the continuous existence of personal rule, disregard for the rule of law and the lack of good governance. This study focuses on understanding and addressing Nigeria's stalled economic development considering the multilateral environment that includes the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs).
