The present reference book covers the advancement in the area of bioorganometallics and Metalopharmaceuticals applications and perspectives of organic derivatives of antimony in recent past. It is well known that organoantimony compounds shows vast potential in biomedical research in past few years and used in the treatment of various chronic and acute diseases. The authors tried to compile literature and own research work regarding this area up to date along with brief out lines of medicinal importance of metals. The importance of metal based drugs lies in the fact that they are essential components for various physico-chemical processes occurring in living system. Dr. Ravi Kant works as Professor (Associate) at Faculty of Chemical Sciences, Shri Ramswaroop Memorial University. He is involved in research in areas of Biochemistry, Bioorganics, Heterocyclic and Metalopharmaceutical chemistry for the past 19 years. Published more than 70 international research papers, books, reviews, monographs and patents.
