Muzaffer Aksoy, M.D., is Professor of Medicine, Section of Haematology, Department of Internal Medicine, at Istanbul Medical School, Capa, Istanbul, Turkey and a member of the medical research group TUBITAK (Scientific and Technical Research Council of Turkey), Unit of Hemolytic Anaemia and Chemical Hematotoxic Disorders. He is also a fellow of Collegium Ramazzini, Modena, Italy.
