About the author

Pierre-Alain Croset is professor for architecture at Milan Polytechnic. He has been Dean of Architecture at the Technical University of Graz (Austria) and at the Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University in Suzhou (China). He has published many critical essays on contemporary architecture, and curated exhibitions on Valle, Aalto, Cattaneo, Scarpa and Siza.Luka Skansi is an assistant professor in architectural history at the University of Rijeka, Croatia. He has also written essays, curated exhibitions and participated in the 2014 Venice Biennale.
