About the author










Gail Johnson was born in England and the daughter of a Jamaican father and English mother. She works as a teacher in a children's center in Gloucester. Gail has a passion for recording history, especially that of Caribbean community members who have settled in Gloucestershire. In 2001, she won an award for Services to Education in Gloucestershire.
