Flavonoids and Phenol Estimation in Leaves Extract of Saraca Asoca

The present book signifies the importance of flavonoids and phenols in human health. These are obtained from the leaves extract of Ashoka plant. The reason behind choosing Ashoka plant is that it has much pharmacological activity and it is readily available in India. The qualitative and quantitative analysis is done to find out the presence of flavonoids and phenols in the leaves of Ashoka.
