Excerpt from Agricultural Trade Highlights, Vol. 6: June 1991

Imports of rubber and allied products, registering the largest per centage increase for April, rose $26 million from year-earlier levels. The source for most of this increase was Indonesia which is the United States' primary supplier. For April, imports totaled $50 million-up 83 percent from April 1990. Year-to-date, how ever, imports are only 6 percent above year-earlier levels.
