About the author










Silvia Pettem's roots are in the East, but her heart, and passion for writing about history, is in the West. During her forty-year career as a writer, researcher and historian, she's written a local history newspaper column, has authored more than a dozen books and has served on nearly every historically related board in Boulder, Colorado.
