It will furniih, therefore, to the fiudent of hiftory and the ftudent of ethnology moit valuable information, unfurpaffed in rich nefs and extent, and which cannot be obtained from any other fource. To aid one or both of thefe two cla¿'es in their invefiigations, the work was undertaken and has now been completed.
