Il coloramento dell'animale vivo non deve essere punto diverso da quanto si può vedere nell' esemplare conser vato nell' alcool; questo almeno si può desumere dalla re lazione che me ne ha fatto il signor Osculati, zelante cul tore dell' entomologia, i cui lunghi viaggi in varie parti dei due continenti fiuttarono anche alle scienze naturali. L'esemplare unico di questa Specie, che ora conservasi nel Civico Museo, fu appunto raccolto da questo fervoroso viag giatore sulle mine di Persepoli.
