Nous avons sous les yeux l'ouvrage cité et commenté par le célèbre Isaac Barrow, le maître de Newton puis son collègue à la Société royale de Londres d'où nous extrayons la solution de Thedcoe, qu'on trouve ici traduite littéralement.
