He was called as a child, a young boy. Called to reach the Indian people in the Southwest Territory of Oklahoma. This calling led Daniel Gentry to a Bible Seminary in Illinois where he met his future wife, Rachel. Together they studied and planned to move west. Others caught their vision and either joined them on the journey or joined them through prayer and financial support.
As they pulled away from Cedar Grove, telling those they loved goodbye, Preacher Clyde Carter prayed them on their way: ". . . and precious Father, we ask You to do whatever it takes to bring the people of the villages where Danny and Rachel will minister, to know You . . ."

About the author
Born in Cincinnati, OH Linda grew up in Saint Petersburg, FL. She met her husband, Randall when they attended Baptist Bible College in Springfield, MO. She and her husband have been in full-time ministry since 1972, serving on Church staff ministries as well as traveling in Evangelism. Currently, they are pastoring a church in Ocala, FL. To date, she has authored EIGHT titles, seven of which are in the Loud the Thunder Series.
