Informationen zum Autor Kirsten Burke has been a professional calligrapher for more than twenty years and is one of the leading lettering artists working in the UK. After qualifying with a degree in graphic design, Kirsten completed a postgrad course in traditional calligraphy, illuminated lettering, gilding and bookbinding. What she loved most was experimentation, making bold, vibrant contemporary artworks and making pictures out of words. In 1997, Kirsten and her friend Jill Hembling set up The Modern Calligraphy Company and Kirsten became the 'Master Calligrapher' for Estee Lauder luxury brands including Jo Malone, Tom Ford, Creme de la Mer, Bobby Brown and Rolls Royce.
