Rabelais l'ap pelle religieuse cabale, comme il donne le nom de cabale monas tique, liv. Ill, chap. Xv, à l'institution de la cuite de boeuf salé obser vée par succession de moine en moine en leur cuistrerie claustrale, qu 'il dit être leur sainte chapelle.
