Il faut probablement attribuer à la circonfiance d'une pelle qui eut lieu fous fon règne la fingularité du monument qui nous oc cupe. Il eû rare de voir une médaille en place d'une pierre pré cieufe enchâ¿'ée dans le chaton d'un anneau digital. La misère des tems où celui - ci fut fabriqué rendoit apparemment fort rares les pierres précieufes qu'on auroit employées dans une circoa tance plus heureufe. Peut-être au¿i faut - il attribuer cette partien latiré à la difette des bons Ouvriers d'alors ou à la brièveté. Du règne du Prince dont on voit ici l'effigie.
