Tandis qu'en 1874 et les années suivantes il exécutait dans un format restreint les typiques estampes que nous venons de citer, dès 1875 pour Goupil et Georges Petit d'abord, puis à partir de 1884 pour Arthur Tooth, il gravait d'autres superbes cuivres d'une dimension beaucoup plus considérable et qui lui ont valu presque toutes un très légitime succès.
