Ruth is led, without design, to glean in the field of Boaz, 1 - 8. He comes to see his reapers. And piously salutes them, and 18 saluted b them, 4. He shews kindness to Ruth; who behaves respectfully towards him, 5 - 10. He states what he had heard other, prays for her, and shews her further kindness, 11 - 17. She returns to Naomi, and informs her of what had passed, 18 - 28.
