Was Plan und Ausführung der Arbeit anbetritlt, so ist, hoffe ich, das Buch dünn genug ausgefallen, um übersichtlich geblieben zu sein. Von den Zeichnungen sind eine Anzahl, namentlich die Querschnitte von Hühner embryonen auf Taf. V und Tai. VI, die Figuren Ill - 37 auf Taf. IV und 29 und 30 auf Taf. III, in einfachen Umrissen gegeben worden. Bei den Ovarial durchschnitten auf Taf. II und III ist überall da, wo nicht besondere Umstände eine genauere Durchführung erforderlich machten, das bindegewebige Stroma des Eierstocks in einer mehr schematischen Weise dargestellt worden.
