Certamente, anche con siffatti appoggi, non sarei qui ad intrattenere il lettore col racconto della nostra Spedizione se una forza superiore non ci avesse pur sorretti visibilmente, attraverso tutti gli ostacoli, e ri condotti alla fine sani e salvi fino in patria. Dobbiamo quindi umilmente esser grati alla divina Providenza se ci fu concesso di far ritorno dagli altipiani di Laikipia e dagli inestricabili labirinti delle regioni in riva al lago Victoria.
