De l'antique construction, remplacée au x1x° Siecle par une habitation plus com m0de, il ne reste guère qu'une belle cheminée de la Renaissance, et le souvenir de quelques pans de murailles englobés dans le bâtiment actuel. On serait fort embarrassé de la décrire, si quelques inventaires, retrouvés dans les registres d'un notaire du voisinage, ne renseignaient assez exactement, sinon sur son aspect extérieur, du moins, ce qui vaut mieux peut - être, sur la façon dont ses habi tants l'avaient meublée au temps de L0uis XI et de Charles VIII.
