Bob Wielenga is an internationally known public speaker on the topics of effective stewardship and mission development. He has trained and educated pastors in more than 75 countries. With more than 35 ministry experience Bob & Janet have directed and coordinated more than 500 short-term mission experiences leading more than 15,000 individuals to an understanding of a Christian worldview.
Bob also currently serves as a consultant for the Ministry Fundraising Network, a working group of the Lausanne Movement.
Loving and serving God has been the heartbeat of Janet's life. Blessed to work in a variety of ministries since 1983, her experience includes ministering to high school youth, mentoring mothers of preschoolers, and serving the local church in worship and discipleship.
Throughout all of these ministries Janet's passion has been people. Challenging, encouraging, building relationships, and practicing the art of being available to lead, assist, coach, train and teach people of all ages the truth of the Gospel message and living lives that reflect Jesus.
In 1984, while on a mission trip together in Haiti, Bob asked Janet to be his wife. Married the next year, God has rocked their world and they have been honored and humbled to serve the Lord together both locally and globally.
Together, their mission has always been to develop the body of Christ to generously love, live, serve and give.
¿Married since 1985, they live in Zeeland, Michigan and have a son and daughter-in-law living in Texas and a daughter and son-in-law living in Michigan.
