Illustrando la fig. 5, fo osservare che il cordone nervoso 'sotto-intestinale' va a finire anteriormente nella regione ce falica, tra l'esofago e il gnatochilario. Sicchè quest'ultimo, visto nell'adulto, appare come una lamina che limiti infe riormente la cavità cefalica, costituendo la regione ventrale del dermascheletro della testa, così come il cappuccio ne forma la regione dorsale: le parti veramente libere sono le cosi dette malae gnathochilarii e lobi linguales sec. La no menclatura del Latzel (v. Fig. Cito semplicemente il fatto anatomico, senza apprezzamenti morfologici, che certo sa rebbero intempestivi.
