Experts from Canada, Germany, and the United States discussed the most pressing and perhaps most controversial aspects of the trilateral and the respective bilateral relationships with a special focus on Can ada, the "peaceable kingdom.

Dr. Markus Kaim is Assistant Professor of Foreign Policy and International Relations at the Department of Political Science of the Friedrich Schiller University Jena.

Dr. Ursula Lehmkuhl is Professor of North American History and Chair of the History Department of the John F. Kennedy Institute for North American Studies, Free University of Berlin.
