Informationen zum Autor Helena Pielichaty (pronounced Pierre-li-hatty) is the author of numerous children’s books, including the highly successful Simone’s Letters , which was nominated for the Carnegie Medal, and hugely popular series The After School Club. A local girls’ under elevens team helped with the inspiration and tactical know-how for Girls FC, but Helena had been an avid fan of women’s football for many years – and in 2016 she set up her own small publishing house to sell and promote Baby Football Fan baby record books. Helena lives in Nottinghamshire with her husband and has two grown-up children. Klappentext Girls FC show the world what it really means to 'play like a girl' in these third and fourth instalments of the series, as star defender Lucy Skidmore struggles with her parents' divorce's effect on her brother, and as dyslexic twins Dylan and Daisy struggle with the match-reports.
