About the author

Irene Althaus ist seit 2013 Dozentin für Englischdidaktik SEK I an der Pädagogischen Hochschule Luzern. Sie ist ehemalige Sekundarlehrerin und studierte an der Universität Bern Erziehungswissenschaft mit Schwerpunkt in pädagogischer Psychologie. Ihre inhaltlichen Arbeitsschwerpunkte liegen in den Bereichen Fachdidaktik Englisch, Kompetenzorientierung, Bilingualer Unterricht und Lehrplanforschung.
Simone Ries ist seit 2007 Dozentin für Englischdidaktik sowie Bildungs- und Sozialwissenschaften SEK I an der Pädagogischen Hochschule Luzern. Sie ist ehemalige Sekundarlehrerin und studierte an der Universität Zürich Erziehungswissenschaft und Anglistik. Ihre inhaltlichen Arbeitsschwerpunkte liegen in den Bereichen Fachdidaktik Englisch, Bilingualer Unterricht, Allgemeine Didaktik und Pädagogische Psychologie.
