Die vorliegende Untersuchung hat bereits im Januar 1881 dem Professorencollegium in Wien als Doctordissertation vorgelegen. Jüngst erschien im zweiten Heft des achten Bandes der Beiträge von Paul und Braune eine Abhandlung von Piper über dasselbe Thema, die in einigen Punkten mit dem Resultate, zu dem ich gekommen bin, übereinstimmt. Die Piper'sche Abhandlung macht eine eingehende Untersuchung keineswegs entbehrlich.
