MENA region has many brave and strong women who fight, not only for women's rights, but for humanity, peace and justice, also for improvement and development of their countries. This book seeks to highlight and contribute to women's efforts in both Arab and Ajam parts of the region. One of the problems in the region is division and enmity. Women can solve this problem by crossing geographic, cultural and political borders and meeting each other with their passion for peace, justice and equality. Today, more than any time before, we need to break boundaries and to form a transnational and transethnic platform of common problems and common solutions. This book is an effort to describe the common problems and the common interests we have. I hope, with my work I play a small role in the establishment of a transnational feminist movement in the region.
