The Second Chapter is occupied with an explanation of the nature and principles of Ventilation, and of the most thoroughly practical plans for ventilating public buildings, illustrated with the necessary diagrams, with ample descrip tions and suggestions. Chapter Third is devoted to the consideration of methods for securing a good supply of pure air to the interior of domestic structures; described in simple terms, yet with sufficient fulness to enable any one to carry them into effect. The Fourth Chapter contains descrip tions of methods adapted especially to agricultural edifices.
