Regarding the date of the Plays Confuted, Mr. Collier ob ferves No fooner had Lodge's honefi excufes [his Defence of Plays made their appearance, than Gofi'on fet about his Plays Con futod in Five Actions} which he dedicated to Sir F. Walfingham but, as it is without date, we can only prefume that it was riot delayed beyond the autumn of 1581, or the fpring of 1582.
