For almost two decades now(1999-2016) Jos and its environs have been literally turned into theaters of various identity based collective violence. The manifestations of these plethora of violence are both lethal as they are also alarming, serving as triggers to most similar violent eruptions in other Nigerian cities. The youths have been largely marginalized and only restricted to the fringes of critical decision making and engagements especially in governance. Within these gaps are the opportunities to be recruited as foot soldiers on ethnic, political and religious platforms for the executions of group grievances through the instrumentality of violence. This book is recommended to the Academia, security agencies and policy makers within government and other organizations in the collective resolve to ensuring a more peaceful society.
