Redemption is the seventh short-story and poetry anthology in the series begun by the Arts Alliance Pine Rivers.

It is illustrated by artist Chelsea Lomandra who grew up in Samford, part of Pine Rivers district of Moreton Bay Region.

Included are a lucky-thirteen stories from winners in the Peter Campbell Memorial / WAG Literary Awards for local high school students.

Redemption has spices of humor, drama, fantasy, science-fiction, mystery, history, social commentary, and adventure.

Some writers, cover artist, Ken Armstrong, and editors have been with the project from volume one; others are newbies.Authors range from people who earn or have earned a living from writing to those being published for the first time.

About the author










Bernie Dowling is an Australian writer working in journalism, fiction, and non-fiction. His first novel is the neo-noir Iraqi Icicle. His non-fiction Maaate! Bribe Proofing The Public Purse Against Good Blokes is about corruption in local government. The author is publishing a four-book series on film noir in the public domain. The first volume Noir Dirt Cheap was published in 2023. Fate Vs The Working Stiff appeared in 2024.
