About the author

STEVE MANN is Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Engineering at the University of Toronto.

SCOTT SBIHLI is cofounder and Chief Technical Officer of Mobile Design Technologies, a leading provider of enterprise wireless solutions. Sbihli has been involved with wireless and mobile technology since 1993 when he was introduced to an Apple Newton while at school at the University of Michigan. Since then he has written for a number of publications as an author and editor including Pen Computing, Handheld Systems, Handheld Computing, and C Net. Sbihli is a frequent speaker at wireless trade shows and conferences.
