Sembrò infatti agli autori di quei ritratti che colui, il quale diede cosi energica. Prova di intrepidezza e di valore militare, dovesse presentare, al più alto grado, i caratteri fi sici e rispecchiare l'indole seria ed un po' rigida di quel soldato. Su di un cosiffatto tipo, ed evidentemente sulla traccia dei ritratti sopra ricordati, venne pure modellata la statua del Micca eretta avanti il dongione della Cittadella.
