About the author

Anne Lingelbach is a retired elementary educator. Throughout her forty-four year teaching career she modeled a love of words. In the classroom, Anne developed creative activities where her students could hone their wordsmithing talents. "Oomph: A World of Words" is her first book. It is a playful dictionary of unusual words designed to engage writers. Anne lives in Appleton, Wisconsin, with Arty, The Little White Dog.
